Direct charter inquiries

LaRoma had the fleet and the experience. It needed a direct route to the people ready to book.

The private charter operator serves Nassau and Key West, with Atlantia, its 67-foot power catamaran, leading the Bahamas offering. Much of its booking flow depended on brokers.

The brief was to build a source of inquiries the business could own and follow up itself, then connect marketing spend to the charters that actually closed.

One question guided the work.

What did we spend, and what did it bring back?

02 / The work

Connect the ad.
The page.
The inquiry.

The work joined campaign structure, landing-page messaging and measurement into one program.

  1. Set up the accounts
    and measurement.

We built the Google Ads account from scratch, restructured Meta campaigns by vessel, and installed tracking pixels and the Conversions API to measure submitted inquiries.

  2. Carry the message
    onto the page.

Three charter landing pages adapted their headlines to the ad that brought each visitor in, keeping the vessel and experience relevant from the first click.

  3. Show the experience.
    Test the demand.

Four carousel campaigns used the client’s own photography. We tested Google and the Key West fleet, then used the results to decide which campaigns deserved more budget.

  4. Move the budget.
    Follow the outcome.

Three campaigns were retired against predetermined stop rules. Monthly reporting connected paid advertising to client-reported closed business and included agency fees in the discussion.

Services in this engagement: paid media, landing pages, creative assembly and conversion measurement.

How to read these results

The 10.5× figure divides $137,400 in client-reported revenue and commissions by $13,076 in total program ad spend. It excludes agency fees and operating costs. It is a value-to-ad-spend ratio, not a profit calculation.

Total program ad spend includes campaigns run before the switch to lead generation. The cost-per-lead figures come from Meta and Google reporting for the lead-generation campaigns: $19.51 at the lowest, and never above $34 for the flagship. These are campaign results, not an average calculated from all program spend and the 230 inquiries. The booking count and revenue/commission total are client-reported.

04 / What changed

The inquiry
was the start.
Not the finish.

Leads arriving for one vessel were matched to other boats in the fleet. The largest booking described in the program went to a boat with no advertising of its own.

That gave each inquiry a role beyond the campaign that first generated it.

Match the intent.

Keep the message consistent from the ad to the landing page and the inquiry.

Set the stop rule.

Decide how a test will be judged before spending the budget. Retire campaigns that miss the mark.

Build the relationship.

Direct inquiries give the business a chance to follow up, understand the guest and find the right fit.

05 / Client perspective
